The clinically proven active ingredient duo of octenidine and phenoxyethanol has an antiseptic effect - it kills germs. Octenidine acts against fungi and certain viruses as well as bacteria - phenoxyethanol accelerates the effect and expands the spectrum of activity. Thanks to this composition, the octenisept® wound disinfection spray can quickly and painlessly disinfect pathogens that have already settled in skin injuries and prevent inflammation. By the way: the active ingredients are well tolerated.

The correct use of octenisept® wound disinfection sprays
1. Wash & disinfect your hands
Wash your hands thoroughly before using the octenisept® wound disinfection spray.
Disinfect it afterwards to prevent pathogens from entering the wound.
2. Clean the wound
Rinse the injury and the surrounding skin area with water. If you are on the go, you can also use mineral water. Carefully remove small stones or splinters with sterile tweezers.
Larger foreign bodies should be removed by a doctor.
3. Disinfect the wound
Spray the octenisept® wound disinfection spray generously onto the wound and the surrounding skin area.
Make sure that the affected areas are completely wetted. Leave the medicine on for one to two minutes.
4. Optimal wound care
For optimal wound care, apply a thin layer of octenisept® gel to the skin injury. If necessary, you can then apply a plaster or bandage.
