The story of our delicately melting cocoa gugelhupfs begins in 1993 in Weil am
Rhine. Here Günter Keller and his son Michael developed the idea that soon led to the finished product Goufrais. It quickly became apparent that Goufrais was unique on the praline market: there was no comparable product.
Goufrais is therefore now a family-run company with a special philosophy: we offer only one product with our cocoa confectionery and have been concentrating on offering it in absolute quality and taste perfection for over 25 years.
The success proves our strategy right: from an initial two tonnes, our
Production volume has now reached 140 tonnes per year. Our niche product has become a real bestseller and 30 passionate employees make it possible to provide customers all over the world with Goufrais moments of happiness.
